Beacon offers huge amount of content. You can collect DNA pieces, which later can cause mutations, which give stat boosts and different positive and negative effects. Basic player roll can be changed into a dash which leaves fire trail, or into a burrow or floating. Not very strong basic melee attack might be changed much stronger attacks or even into ranges shot. Those mutations change appearance too, so Freya can turn from normal human being into some monstrosity with insect legs, robotic arms and weird flaming skull.
