A tactical strategy game with a slick and groovy atmosphere, Crookz: The Big Heist is set in the funky 1970s. Plot stylish heists and robberies to display your mastery of the art of theft while using espionage and quick thinking to escape being caught. Organize and outfit your team in advance of the assignment, and then prepare the ideal entrance, to execute a successful strategy. What I received from this game was precisely what I was hoping for: a blend of “squad” tactics and stealth puzzles, a fantastic early-2000s gaming vibe, silly characters, and a ton of different levels. Depending on how flawless you want your run to be, this can be more of a “puzzle” than a “strategy” game. It will function as a puzzle if you won’t settle for anything less than the best. The alternative is to approach it as a game of strategy.
