After graduating, they’ve been creating indie games together, but so far life has been harsh; Their games don’t sell, and most of their time is spent working part time jobs to make ends meet… As Kanii desperately tries to find a way to make a product that sells, Kumade makes a decision― “GOODBYE WORLD” is a narrative adventure game. Play through 12 stages of a puzzle platformer while following the two protagonists through 13 chapters of their story. (The story has a linear storyline and does not have multiple endings.) Really like the meaning of the platformer keeps changing in each chapter…

Also actually, players don’t have to play the platformer. They can just immediately die three times and progress the story. But the fact that I still play it is like telling Kanii that her game is good! At least I feel as a player I am talking to the character by “choosing” to play the platformer. Feels really nice. Lovely game. Game is sad and focuses more on the Story of the characters than the actual gameplay. The story was exactly what I was hoping it may be when I got it. Sorta dark, sad, with a nice atmosphere. What i really liked was, you don’t have to keep playing the same level 100 times until you beat it, if you deplete your tries, it will allow you to progress.
