You take tons of damage in every single fight and have to heal between every encounter. Even clearing every encounter on every map, you’ll still be behind the level curve with how enemy levels scale and have to keep grinding to keep up. You also can’t save whenever you want and have to go back to a statue to save, so you can’t take on the game in bite sized chunks and have to invest a large amount of time whenever you want to get anything done. I haven’t seen a way to change the difficulty setting in-game yet either. I’m 4 hours into the game and have seen 3 alright H-scenes and only a sliver of the plot.
