A hack and slash action adventure, set in a fantasy pixel art environment. Play solo or co-op in this adventure from bottom to top of Castle Hammerwatch. Kill hordes of enemies with varied looks and features through four unique environments with traps, hidden secrets and puzzles. Gauntlet, but all classes have been specialised into actual roles, aka paladin doesnt have a ranged attack, etc. This however means the game is a genuine pain to play in singleplayer as you will find situations that are damn near unsolvable without using an invulnerability potion. So play it in multiplayer, which unlike heroes of hammerwatch, actually works. I heard this was similar, and it is indeed very similar in several ways. IDLE DEVILS

The inspiration is clear. However, it’s like an improved version of any Gauntlet game ever released. The game is a blast! I played it over and over again, countless times by myself as well as with my friends, who I convinced to buy and play it with me. They never regretted doing so, quite the opposite. Probably one of the best dungeon crawlers I’ve played. Even better with friends. Different classes with different play styles and abilities; hand-crafted levels with lots of enemies, loot, secrets, and traps; ridiculously long campaigns with the looming threat of permadeath (but many extra lives to pick up along the way); challenging, interesting boss encounters. This game is just good, especially for the price.
