I had a terrific time exploring the local multiplayer mode for a few hours with three other friends. We raced everything from electric cars to open wheelers, and generally it was a terrific experience. The car and track selection is broad, however it should be noted that there are a lot of French courses. One minor gripe would be that the AI sometimes acts as though it is blind when racing beside you, or it moves entirely out of the way when it senses a warning.
