The tale more than makes up for the basic gameplay. As an autistic person who experienced severe depression as a youngster, I can attest to the delicate way in which mental illness in children and the development of mental health therapy were depicted. A deeply touching tale that anyone who has mental health issues as a child will relate to. This game is perfect for you if you enjoy titles like Fran Bow and American Mcgee’s Alice. (In particular, how well historical asylums and therapies are portrayed.) My biggest complaint about the game is that I wish it had been longer since I would have loved to discover more about the characters.
