I’m excited for Tomba 2 and am glad to see that Tomba is receiving some attention with his rerelease! Overall, a fun experience, with the rolling savestates/rewind option helping to mitigate some of the more irksome elements of the older design. Things like blind jumps, insta-death traps, endlessly regenerating adversaries (but not quest barrels), lack of a fast retry option in minigames, etc. Things that I wouldn’t typically overlook, but since I can reset the game’s state, it makes no difference. While using the rewind, the music would occasionally stop, but generally, it was a good method to play this classic game. BLACKLIST MAFIA
